Leadership council
The leadership council is the decision making body of the environmental council. The nine voting members are the chairperson, director and seven heads of departments. A special adviser has also been appointed. The current leadership council represents three year groups, though with the introduction of the shadow council, younger students who learn from their heads of departments and build up their skills to succeed them, the leadership council is set to expand to even lower years
Finance Department
The finance department is responsible for organizing fundraising activities and managing funds as directed by the leadership council
Action and Project Department
The Action and Project department is responsible for upkeep of current projects such as composting and recycling
Public Relations Department
The Public Relations Department is responsible for creating content, responding to community questions and suggestions, as well as managing social media
Communications Department
The Communication Department is responsible for ensuring council cohesion
Research Department
The Research Department is responsible for contacting and negotiations with suppliers, as well as ensuring that policy guidelines, proposals and sustainability guidelines are published and updated
Human Resources Department
The Human Resources Department is responsible for recruitment and motivating members
Technical Support
The Technical Support Department is responsible for advising the council on efficient use of technology
EAG Core
All Environmental Representatives from each form group and volunteers not in any other department of the environmental council form the EAG Core, which is responsible to supporting all leadership council initiatives.
